The mixer/amplifier shall include 25 V, 70.7 V and 4 ohm transformer-isolated outputs with screw- terminal type connections and protective speaker terminal cover plate. The mixer/amplifier shall include two separate Music-On-Hold (MOH) outputs: balanced, transformer-isolated, 0 dBV, 600 ohm output impedance with screw-terminal connector; and 1 W into an 8 ohm speaker load with screw-terminal connector. Both MOH outputs shall receive only signals from the AUX, PGM and Module (BGM mode) inputs. The input channels shall be split into two groups: PAGE and BGM (Background Music). The PAGE group shall include the MIC and TEL inputs. The BGM group shall include the AUX and PGM inputs. The module slot shall be assignable to either group via a rear-panel switch. PAGE inputs shall be routed only to the main amplifier outputs and shall have Auto-Mute priority over the BGM inputs. BGM inputs shall be routed to both the main amplifier outputs and the Music-On-Hold outputs and shall respond to the Auto-Mute and/or External Mute (switch-closure) functions. T1he mixer/amplifier shall incorporate an Auto-Mute function to allow the MIC, TEL and Module (PAGE mode) to override the AUX, PGM and Module (BGM mode) without interrupting the MOH output. A rear panel Auto-Mute SENSE control shall allow threshold adjustment of mute activation. Screw terminals for activating the mute function with an external switch closure shall also be included with switchable dual mode operation accessible from the rear panel. External Mute Mode “A” shall allow MIC, TEL and Module (PAGE mode) to be normally ON with no change during the External Mute switch closure. AUX, PGM, and Module (BGM mode) shall be normally ON and activate to OFF with switch closure. External Mute Mode “B” shall allow MIC, TEL, Module (Page mode) to be normally OFF and activate to ON with switch closure and AUX, PGM, Module (BGM mode) normally ON to activate to OFF with switch closure. The mixer/amplifier shall include a patching loop to provide access to the mixer output and power amplifier input. The mixer output shall be 0 dBV, 600 ohms output impedance, unbalanced, RCA pin jack. The power amplifier input shall be 0 dBV, 10k ohms input impedance, unbalanced, RCA pin jack. Internal jumper settings shall include Phantom Power (MIC input); switchable TEL input impedance (600/10k ohms); PAGE input Auto-Mute routing; and BGM input MOH/Zone routing. The mixer/amplifier shall include rear panel Bass/Treble tone controls (100 and 10k Hz, +/- 10 dB). The tone controls shall affect only the PGM, AUX and Module (BGM mode) input signal routed to the main amplifier output and shall not affect the MOH outputs. The front panel shall include MIC, TEL, PGM, AUX and Module volume controls; Signal, Peak and Power LEDs; and Power On/Off switch. Five volume control security knobs shall be included to prevent unauthorized adjustment of front panel volume control settings. The mixer/amplifier shall be capable of operation from a 120 VAC / 60 Hz line with rear-panel AC circuit breaker. Power consumption at rated output shall be BG-1015: 50 W, BG-1030: 80 W, BG- 1060: 160 W, BG-1120: 260 W. The output shall be disconnected for approx. 3 seconds after power is switched on. A rear panel AC receptacle (unswitched) with rear-panel AC circuit breaker shall be included for connection of external equipment. The amplifier shall have short-circuit and thermal protection circuitry with an automatic electronic output limiter. Dimensions (W x H x D) shall be 10.39” x 4.23” x 11.02” (264 x 107.4 x 280 mm).
