TOA Canada Corporation, manufacturer of commercial audio and security products, recently announced a new and improved N-8000 IP Network Intercom System product line.
TOA’s enhanced N-8000 IP-based Intercom system allows a high level of expandability and interoperability with Audio, CCTV and Access Control systems. The N-8000 may be configured on a local or global (Internet) network and may consist entirely of master-stations or any combination of master and door stations. An array of station options includes the IP master and door stations (including outdoor door stations) and several 2 and 4-wire master & door stations. The new system can be scaled to over 3,000 stations, making it suitable for very large facilities or those that are configured on a national or global basis. The intuitive configuration of the software and Java-based browser makes it possible to virtually monitor and control the system from any location on the network.
The new N-8000 system fits a wide range of applications by incorporating features from TOA’s VS-900 Security Intercom (Access Control, Call Queue and Emergency Paging) with features from their IC-100 School Intercom including a privacy function and a timing function for school-bell tones. The N-8000/N-8000EX 16-station IP exchanges can allow up to 16 2-wire stations and connect to an audio system for paging. The N-8000MI, N-8000CO, N-8000AF, N-8000AL and N-8000DI IP interfaces allow integration expansion with audio, access control, telephone and outside line systems.
