TOA Canada Corporation a subsidiary of TOA Corporation is proud to announce the launch of the PC-580RU, PC-580RVU & PC-580S Ceiling Speakers for General Paging and Emergency Announcements. Specifically designed for use in Mass Notification Systems, Voice Evacuation and Emergency Paging requirements and meets UL 2572/ ULC 541S, UL 2043 and UL 1480 standards. The PC-580 series is an 8" in-ceiling speaker which is suitable for plenum use. Designed around a unique "monocoque" chassis for improved structural integrity, The PC-580RU/RVU/S has an integrated transformer tapped for 25V and 70V connections at up to 5W output and can also be connected to 8 Ohm lines with 10W of power handling. The PC-580RU is based on a common round ceiling speaker template, allowing it to easily replace many existing speakers in retrofit installations and is competitively priced to allow large-scale systems to be designed within tight budget constr aints. The PC-580RVU adds a center-grille oriented volume control for easy adjustment when necessary, while the PC-580S is the square option. The optional HY-BC-580U back-can is designed to fit in shallow-depth plenum spaces, is stackable for easy storage and provides punch plates for conduit. The PC-580RU/RVU/S & HY-BC-580U will carry TOA's 5-year Audio Product Warranty.

The PC-580 Series Ceiling Speakers will replace TOA's popular PC-671R, PC-671RV and Q-PC-671S Ceiling Speakers, which will be discontinued effective August 2012. Quantities are now limited, so please check with customer service for stock.
