Effective March 31, 2011 TOA Canada Corporation will no longer be selling the A01, B01 and C01 band UHF Wireless Frequencies. This change is based on the decision by industry Canada:

TOA Canada is currently offering allowable frequencies that may be used in the E01 (668 – 698 MHz, UHF) and F01 (636 – 666 MHz, UHF) frequency bands.

Please note:

When ordering UHF Wireless products, care must be taken to ensure products ordered are of the correct frequency. Unlike frequency bands will not work together. When replacing either a microphone or receiver, they must be replaced in pairs so that their frequency bands match. It is advised to check the frequency band for all pieces in the system before ordering the replacement units.

TOA wireless microphone systems frequency band determination can be found in the model name, such as WM-5200 E01. The E01 indicates the band that is used for these particular wireless microphones. The new and allowable TOA frequency designators may be E01 and/or F01.

When ordering products for existing installations, please make sure that frequency band designators are indicated on the purchase order. As an example, a system using the WT-5810 E01 receiver needs a new microphone. When ordering the new microphone, you would indicate the model number and the suffix E01. This will ensure that the receiver and microphone will work together.
